Westbury Singers
- are an independent four part choir (SATB); we are not a religious choir nor are we affiliated to any organisation
- are a non-auditioning choir in line with the desires of the membership. We seek compatibility, both singing and social. New members may be offered full membership after 4 rehearsals.
- are a choir with a wide range repertoire to cover our singing seasons - Christmas with our seasonal greetings of Carols and Christmas hymns, Easter which is usually for more serious works and Summer with music from the shows, pop, folksongs etc.
- are a choir whose singing membership does not exceed 50 members.
- encourage a strong social involvement within the membership.
- hold rehearsals on Monday evenings at Westbury on Trym Baptist Church in Reedley Road, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. Additional rehearsals are sometimes convened at the discretion of the Choirmaster.
- adopt general school term times for practices and concerts.
